RDCL President Joumana Saddi Chaya was invited to be the main speaker at the last Power Breakfast of 2025 organized by CCI France Liban at ESA BUSINESS SCHOOL and gathering members of both institutions.

Maxence DUAULT, Director General of ESA and Delegate General of CCI France Liban, highlighted the strong alignment between the two bodies, noting that “RDCL remains one of the most active economic forces in Lebanon, consistently lobbying public authorities to secure the interests of companies.”

Drawing on her experience as Managing Partner at PSLAB, Joumana Saddi Chaya presented the company’s global footprint and strong Lebanese roots. She also outlined RDCL’s mission, reaffirming its credibility with national and international institutions.

Nadim Abboud, RDCL Member, presented the pillars of a modern pension system, noting that “Lebanon needs a clear, sustainable law — not temporary measures.”

Charbel TAWIL, RDCL Member, highlighted the Technology GPA’s mandate, noting that “our focus is to build the private sector’s readiness in AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.”

Fouad Trad, RDCL Member, stressed the urgency of revitalizing the banking sector, noting that “a productive economy cannot function without banks — deposit guarantees and viable institutions are indispensable.”

Cyrille Arida, RDCL Vice President, underscored the need to enforce existing laws, stating that “impunity is the mother of all chaos,” and highlighting the importance of legal consistency if we are to be able to implement all — or any — of the above-mentioned subjects.

This Power Breakfast offered a structured dialogue on Lebanon’s economic priorities, reaffirming RDCL’s ongoing role in representing the legal private sector and advancing coordinated, evidence-based reform.
