RDCL members Nadim Abboud OBE, Tatiana Hamyeh Itani and Jean-Marc Ingea took part in the meeting organized by ALI in collaboration with the International Labour Organization, focused on the National Social Protection Strategy and the private sector’s role in boosting economic inclusion and labour activation.

The discussion addressed how social-assistance systems function, the realities facing vulnerable groups, and the need to shift toward employment-driven pathways. Participants examined recruitment challenges, skills gaps, job-matching barriers, and the reforms required to build a more enabling labour market.
