RDCL organized a round table at ESA Business School titled “Building the Future, Today!” with H.E. Dr. Amer Bisat, Minister of Economy and Trade.

Mrs. Joumana Saddi Chaya, President of RDCL, opened the session by reaffirming the association’s firm support for the upcoming Beirut One Conference in November 2025, stressing the role of the legal private sector as a partner in policymaking, investment stimulation, and job creation.

Dr. Mourad Aoun, RDCL member and moderator of the discussion, emphasized that the objective of the round table was to establish a direct and responsible dialogue between the government and the legal private sector in order to rebuild confidence and enhance national competitiveness.

From his end, H.E. Dr. Amer Bisat shared his vision for the coming phase, highlighting that Lebanon has reached relative economic stability that could serve as a foundation for progress. He stressed the need for reforms and effective investments, and outlined his key priorities:

– Reactivating the financial sector within a clear regulatory framework.
– Improving the business environment through simplification, transparency, and governance.
– Reducing production costs by upgrading infrastructure and essential services.
– Developing sectoral pathways in agriculture, industry, tourism, and technology.
– Ensuring success through the active engagement of the legal private sector and the mobilization of Lebanese capacities at home and abroad.

This round table forms part of RDCL’s commitment to advancing a practical national vision under the ASPIRE – Together Lebanon Program, ensuring that today’s actions pave the way for sustainable and irreversible progress.
