RDCL met with the Minister of Economy and Trade, Dr. Amer Bisat, in its offices in Beirut. The meeting’s purpose was to share RDCL’s concerns regarding the protection and sustainability of Lebanon’s formal private sector, and to clearly exchange views on key national priorities — notably the Financial Gap Law — as well as the urgent and increasingly alarming issue of end-of-service indemnity.

RDCL reiterated its call for an urgent national economic and fiscal strategy — before anything else — in order to restore stability, rebuild trust, and support long-term growth, while emphasizing that such a strategy must be grounded in equity rather than formal equality.

RDCL also stressed that sustained dialogue and structured public-private cooperation are essential to restore confidence, protect productive activity, and enable sustainable growth.
