Highlighting the pressing need for reforms, Nicolas Boukather addressed various challenges facing the Lebanese Private Sector including heightened competition from the illegal sector’s entities, escalating operational expenses, and burdensome customs duties, all contributing to a noticeable decline in sales and profitability. He called for immediate action to bolster compliance standards, proposing comprehensive solutions such as financial restructuring and regulatory reforms.
