Roula Gharios Zahar
Roula Gharios Zahar is co-founder and General Director of Mount Lebanon Hospital University Medical Center MLHUMC, a major Healthcare facility accredited by The Joint Commission International -JCI. She holds the combined position of Financial Director and Quality Director of MLHUMC where her responsibilities include strategic planning, accreditation and quality systems, financial management and management of Hospital Information System (HIS).
She is a board member in the Syndicate of Private Hospitals in Lebanon, a member of the National Committee for Hospital accreditation, and an accredited surveyor trainer in the National Accreditation Initiative of the Ministry of Health. Roula holds a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut and an MBA in Hospital Management from Saint-Joseph University, Paris-I Pantheon Sorbonne, Dauphine University in Paris. She earned a degree in Mediation from Saint Joseph University, is a fellow of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (FISQua), and has been selected by ISQua’s board for the Emerging Leaders Program in 2015.
